There has been an increase in the occurrence of measles in Canada and around the world. Measles can be prevented through a vaccination. According to Immunize Canada there is no evidence of a link between Measle vaccination and autism. Read about it here.
In December 10, 2013, the Auditor General of Ontario released a report that contained a section on “Autism Services and Supports for Children”. A copy of that section is attached and the full report is available on http://www.auditor.on.ca/en/. The average wait time for Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) in Ontario is 3.9 years. There are now more children with ASD waiting for IBI than receiving it.
