Our Organization
Behaviour Innovations is a private agency providing ABA services to children, young adults and their families. We offer a range of services options including home and centre based Intense Behaviour Intervention, behaviour support for school aged children, supported inclusion in school settings, diagnostic assessments, and recreational programming for young adults with developmental disabilities. In addition to therapeutic services, BI also provides training and consultation to families, professionals, organizations, schools, and residential care facilities.

Directors
Dr. Nicole Walton-Allen
Dr. Nicole Walton-Allen is a registered psychologist, a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst- Doctoral level and is an adjunct member of the Psychology Department at McMaster University. Dr. Nicole also provides behavioural support consultation and supervision to a number of agencies servicing adults with developmental disabilities and consults with school systems on how to support students with high behaviour needs. Nicole has over 25 years designing and supervising ABA programs for persons with developmental disorders, including ASD.
Dr. Joel Hundert
Dr. Joel Hundert is a registered psychologist, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Doctoral level and a past director on the Behavior Analyst Certification Board - an international credentialing organization for behaviour analysts. Joel was formally the President of the Ontario Association For Behaviour Analysis (ONTABA), currently serves on its Advisory Committee and contributed to the writing of “Evidence-Based Practice for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder” a 2017 report by ONTABA. He is an associate clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences, and adjunct member of the Psychology Department at McMaster University. Joel has served on the editorial board of and published numerous research articles in scholarly journals. His most recent book is entitled, Inclusion of Students With Autism: Using ABA-Based Supports in General Education, published by PRO-ED (2009). Joel has over 35 years designing and supervising ABA programs for children with ASD.
Executive Team
Under the direction and supervision of the directors, the Senior Clinicians at Behaviour Innovations, who are Board Certified Behaviour Analysts, manage each IBI team and strive to offer the best service possible, at a personalized level that you will not find anywhere else. The facilitators who work directly with the child are passionate about their work and it shows in their efforts and with the progress made with the clients.
