Intensive Behaviour Intervention (IBI) is an individualized treatment program designed to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in developing essential life skills such as communication, social interaction, and daily living tasks. What to Expect
Customized Treatment
Our program begins with thorough assessments to identify areas critical for your child’s development. Treatment plans are then tailored to address these specific needs, ensuring a personalized approach to learning and growth.
Comprehensive Programming
We offer comprehensive programming across all relevant areas of development including learning readiness, communication skills, socialization, daily living skills, leisure, and play. Each aspect is carefully integrated into your child’s program to promote holistic development.
Frequent Sessions
Your child will participate in frequent sessions, ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, delivered by trained therapists under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst. This supervision ensures the effectiveness and fidelity of the intervention, with ongoing assessment and goal adjustment to maximize progress.
Parental Involvement
We recognize the vital role of parents in their child’s journey. Our program includes direct coaching sessions and team meetings to involve parents in the learning process, ensuring continuity of learning and generalization of skills beyond the therapy sessions.

Initial Meeting
Meet with one of the directors of Behaviour Innovations to discuss your family’s goals and learn how our program can support you.
Direct Assessment with Your Child
Following the initial meeting, we will conduct a direct assessment with your child to gain a deeper understanding of their strengths and areas for growth. This assessment may include observations, standardized tests, and informal assessments tailored to your child’s age and developmental level.
Formulation of Treatment Plan
Based on the information gathered from the assessment and discussions with your family, our team will develop a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to your child’s unique needs and goals.
Commencement of the IBI Program
Our dedicated team of trained therapists, under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, will implement the program with precision and care. Through structured sessions and evidence-based techniques, we’ll work tirelessly to help your child reach their full potential and achieve meaningful progress.
