Teen Life Program

The Teen Life Program

Building Real-World Independence Through Specialized ABA Support

Now Launching: Our NEW Teen Life Program

Designed for youth aged 12-17.

The Teen Life Program is a specialized ABA program designed to help teens build essential life skills, improve social communication, and thrive in community environments.

How the Program Works

We combine individualized skill-building with dynamic group practice to ensure teens can generalize what they learn to everyday life.

  • 1:1 Personalized Instruction: Focused ABA sessions targeting specific individual goals, building the foundation for personal independence.

  • Small-Group Learning: Peer sessions structured to mirror real-world social and community settings, fostering natural collaboration and communication.

Our Approach

Blended 1:1 & Group Learning

Teen Life balances individualized 1:1 ABA instruction with dynamic, peer-led small groups. This structure ensures teens master foundational targets one-on-one, then immediately practice and generalize those skills in natural social settings.

Active Community Participation

Teens regularly step out into the neighbourhood to navigate public transit, walk local routes, and handle everyday transactions—embedding individual goals directly into real-world outings.

Adaptive Daily Routines

To build true independence, outings and group activities change daily, helping participants navigate unpredictable environments, build problem-solving skills, and develop lasting flexibility.

Areas We Can Help With

  • Community Navigation: Safely crossing streets, following neighborhood routes, and learning to ride public transit with confidence.

  • Functional Life & Daily Living Skills: Budgeting basics, handling money, navigating retail stores, and interacting with cashiers.

  • Social Communication & Peer Interaction: Starting and maintaining conversations, interpreting social cues, and collaborating effectively within a small group.

  • Flexibility & Problem-Solving: Adapting to daily schedule changes, managing new environments, and handling unexpected disruptions calmly.

  • Personal Independence & Self-Advocacy: Making choices, asking for help or directions in public spaces, and taking ownership of personal routines.
